1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, purchasing, or using any courses, digital products, or community platforms (collectively, the "Services") provided by The Quilted Poodle Academy ("TQPA," "The Academy," "Academy," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Services.
2. Third-Party Platform Hosting
The Quilted Poodle Academy is proudly hosted on Kajabi, an industry-leading, secure Learning Management System (LMS). By accessing our Services, you acknowledge that the delivery of course content, community interaction, and account management is facilitated through Kajabiā€™s infrastructure. As such, your use of the Academy is also subject to Kajabiā€™s Official Terms of Service.
3. One-Time Purchases: 24-Hour Refund Policy (Courses & Digital Goods)
We believe deeply in the quality and value of our educational content. However, because our courses (e.g., Mastering Power Panto) include immediate access to highly valuable, downloadable proprietary assets, we enforce a strict refund policy to protect our intellectual property.
- The 24-Hour Evaluation Window: We offer a full, 100% money-back guarantee on one-time purchases if a refund is requested within exactly twenty-four (24) hours of your initial purchase timestamp.
- After 24 Hours (All Sales Final): Once 24 hours have passed from the exact time of your transaction, all one-time sales are strictly final and non-refundable.
- How to Request a Refund: To request a refund within your 24-hour evaluation window, you must immediately email academy@quiltedpoodle.com or call 1 (844) 5-POODLE. Please include your full name and order receipt. Your access to the Academy will be revoked upon the processing of your refund.
4. Subscriptions & Memberships: Billing and Prorated Refunds
TQPA offers Monthly and Annual recurring memberships granting access to class archives, community spaces, and Live Q&A sessions. You may cancel your subscription at any time. If you choose to cancel and request a refund for the remainder of your subscription, your refund will be strictly prorated based on the amount of time remaining in your current billing cycle.
- Proration Example (Monthly): If you purchase a Monthly Membership ($35/month) and cancel on Day 15 of a 30-day billing cycle, your refund will be calculated for the remaining 15 unused days (approx. $17.50).
- Proration Example (Annual): If you purchase an Annual Membership ($336/year) and cancel on Day 100 of the 365-day billing cycle, your refund will be calculated for the remaining 265 unused days (approx. $243.94).
5. Discount Abuse and Minimum Commitment Clause
TQPA offers exclusive discounts on one-time course purchases to our active members (e.g., 50% off for Annual Members, 20% off for Monthly Members). To protect the integrity of these benefits, the following anti-abuse policy applies:
- The 1-Month Minimum: If you sign up for a Monthly or Annual Membership and subsequently utilize a member-exclusive discount to purchase a course or digital product, you commit to a minimum of one full month of membership.
- If you request a prorated cancellation of your membership within the first thirty (30) days after utilizing a member discount, the equivalent of one Monthly Membership fee ($35.00) becomes strictly non-refundable. Your prorated refund will be calculated on the remaining balance only. This ensures our discounts are reserved for genuine, participating Academy members.
6. Intellectual Property and Limited License
All content provided by TQPAā€”including but not limited to video tutorials, course modules, transcriptions, "After-Class Refreshments" Refresher Workbooks, Technical Glossaries, Q&A archives, and community postsā€”is the exclusive intellectual property of The Quilted Poodle Academy and is protected by copyright laws.
Upon purchase, TQPA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial, educational use only.
You expressly agree that you will NOT:
- Share your login credentials, passwords, or account access with any other individual or group.
- Download, record, screen-capture, reproduce, or scrape our video content.
- Distribute, share, sell, or post our proprietary PDF workbooks, transcripts, or documents to external Facebook groups, forums, or third parties.
- Use our content to train, create, or sell your own competing courses or instructional materials.
7. Account Security and Enforcement
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. TQPA utilizes tracking technology to monitor simultaneous logins and disparate IP addresses. If unauthorized account sharing or content distribution is detected, your access to the Academy will be permanently revoked without warning and without a refund, and TQPA reserves the right to pursue further legal action.
8. Community Guidelines ("The No-Judgment Zone")
Our community spaces are built on mutual respect and encouragement. Harassment, spam, hostile behavior, or disruptive conduct toward the instructors or fellow students will result in immediate removal from the community platforms.
9. Disclaimer of Liability (Hardware & Software)
TQPA provides educational training focused on computerized longarm quilting and related third-party hardware/software.
- TQPA is an independent educational entity. Our instructions are provided "as is" for educational purposes.
- Assumption of Risk: You agree that you are solely responsible for the operation of your longarm machine, software, and physical materials. TQPA shall not be held liable for any damages to your fabric, machine, frame, tablet, or software resulting from the application or misapplication of our training.
10. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the course content, curriculum, or Live Q&A schedule at any time to reflect changes in software versions or industry standards.
